Kentucky basketball has announced that its annual game against Louisville is set for Dec. 28 this season.
The Wildcats will welcome Chris Mack’s squad to Rupp Arena for another installment of the rivalry, with the game set to be televised on CBS.
Kentucky captured a 71-58 victory at the KFC Yum Center last season and has recently had lots of success in the series between the two rivals.
Two more dates to circle on the calendar.

John Calipari’s team has won 10 of the last 12 meetings, and the Wildcats hold a 28-14 record in the all-time series.
Calipari is set to add another top-five recruiting class while bringing back key contributors in Ashton Hagans, Immanuel Quickley, Nick Richards, and EJ Montgomery.
Lovell’s Analysis
The matchup between these two is always one of the most anticipated games of the season, and it should be no different with this edition of the rivalry.
There’s a good chance that both teams will be ranked in the top five nationally in the preseason, which should add even more excitement to the showdown in Lexington.
Getting a victory in this one would obviously give the Wildcats a ton of momentum heading into SEC play at the start of the new year.
