Mississippi State basketball will reportedly host Kent State as part of its 2019-20 non-conference schedule.
Ben Howland’s group already has announced non-conference matchups against Tulane at the Myrtle Beach Invitational and Kansas State in the Never Forget Tribute Classic.
This season’s matchup with mark the first-ever meeting between Mississippi State and Kent State.

The Golden Flashes finished 22-11 a season ago and return a lot of upperclassmen on the roster after having one of the most experienced teams in the country last season.
As for the Bulldogs, they’ll try to get back to the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season.
