Cameron Matthews, a 3-star forward in the 2020 recruiting class, has committed to Mississippi State.
The 6-6 small forward, who attends Olive Branch High School (MS), will stay in-state to play for Ben Howland and the Bulldogs after taking his official visit to the school.
Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Memphis, and Ole Miss were among the other schools that offered him.

Matthews is rated as the No. 2 player in Mississippi and the No. 289 player overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.
The Bulldogs returns three of their top five scorers heading into the season, with Howland also adding a top 60 recruiting class to the mix.
