Kennedy Chandler, a 5-star guard in the 2021 recruiting class, has committed to Tennessee basketball.
The 6-1 point guard, who attends, Sunrise Christian in Kansas, choose the Vols over Duke, Kentucky, Memphis, and North Carolina.
Several other SEC schools had offered Chandler, including Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt.

Chandler is rated as the top point guard and No. 11 overall player in the 2021 recruiting class, according to 247Sports.
He becomes the first commitment for Tennessee in the 2021 class, with Rick Barnes continuing to build momentum on the recruiting trail after landing a top-five group in the 2020 class.
The Vols welcome in two top 20 prospects in 5-star guards Jaden Springer and Keon Johnson, plus 4-star power forward Corey Walker.
Barnes and company also secured a key grad transfer in Sacred Heart forward EJ Anosike, who averaged 15.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game last season for the Pioneers.
