MISSISSIPPI STATE SCHEDULE NOTES
– Mississippi State will play five of its first six games in Starkville, with only one road trip before an October 21 matchup at Arkansas.
– Arizona returns most of its offense but needs to improve on defense in what will be a rematch from last year’s 39-17 win for the Bulldogs.
– Mississippi State and South Carolina will square off for just the third time since 2013.
– The Bulldogs aim to snap a 15-game losing streak to Alabama when the teams meet on Sept. 30 at Davis Wade Stadium.
– Mississippi State has won the five previous meetings against Southern Miss.
