Marching to Madness: Tiger Rag editor Cody Worsham [Podcast]

I caught up with TigerRag.com editor Cody Worsham on Episode 110 of the Marching to Madness podcast to talk all things LSU basketball.

Topics of discussion included:

  • His reaction to the Will Wade hire
  • Where he felt like things really started to go wrong during the Johnny Jones era
  • Wade’s impact in recruiting thus far
  • How the roster is shaping up heading into next season
  • The North Texas additions of Tony Benford on staff and Jeremy Combs on the court
  • So much more

Cody is dialed into the LSU scene, as TigerRag.com is a tremendous resource for all things LSU sports.

The Wade hire seemed like the perfect fit for a program that was in desperate need of a makeover. LSU had to find a young, energetic coach that would bring a new personality to Baton Rouge, and that’s exactly what athletic director Joe Alleva did in hiring Wade.

It may be difficult for the Tigers to make up a lot of ground this upcoming season, but as long as they are more competitive than they were a season ago, it should be considered a successful first season for Wade and company.

I host both the Marching to Madness and Southeast Hoops podcasts. Sometimes guests will overlap and other times guests will be solely on the Marching to Madness podcast. Those particular episodes will be placed on the Southeast Hoops website for your listening pleasure.
