Lovell’s Analysis
Last year’s challenge results brought about excitement to the world of SEC hoops.
Most people thought the league didn’t stand a chance against Big 12 competition (I wasn’t one of those people) and were caught off guard when the challenge ended in a tie.
This season, expectations are different.
The SEC should be on even footing with the Big 12 and may find itself as a favorite in the majority of these games.
Of course, we’re a long way off from knowing whether or not that will be the case, as there’s no way to predict injuries and other important developments.
No matter what, fans of both conferences will be in for a thrilling slate of games on January 28.
