Lovell’s Analysis
The three-way tie for Player of the Year is interesting, but not surprising.
All three players are deserving of the award, as is fellow first-teamers Allen and Diallo.
This is exactly why I’ve talked about the SEC making its huge jump this year – the amount of talent in this league is tremendous.
Some talent is young (Porter Jr and Williams), and some talent is experienced (Maten and Allen).
It’s going to make for a lot of competitive games, and you could have put maybe 20 other players around the league on the All-SEC Second Team.
