Three SEC teams have landed in the preseason AP Top 25.
Kentucky starts off at No. 5, Florida at No. 8, and Texas A&M at No. 25.
Alabama received the most votes (86) of any team left out of the Top 25, while Missouri (25) and South Carolina (1) also received votes.

Lovell’s Analysis
You all know my thoughts on how little preseason polls actually mean.
However, it’s clear that both AP voters and coaches seem to agree that Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Missouri appear to be, on paper, the best teams in the SEC entering the season.
All five have the depth needed to win multiple games in March, but we’re a long way from March.
Believe it or not, teams still have to go out and prove their worth on the court.
And while three SEC teams start out in the preseason Top 25, there’s a good chance that those five (and others) will have a shot at joining the fun as the season unfolds.
