This week, Texas A&M has taken the top spot in the SEC RPI standings while Tennessee and Arkansas come in just a couple of spots behind.
After losing to Illinois, the Missouri Tigers have fallen 3 spots but are still rated as the No. 15 team in the NCAA’s RPI.
The Auburn Tigers, last week’s biggest mover, are again on the rise and are now the fifth-highest rated side in SEC RPI. This comes after the Tigers defeated Murray State on the road and UConn at home last week.
Most other teams saw little-to-no movement; however, that will likely not hold true over the coming weeks.
With conference play starting this weekend, it is safe to assume we will start seeing some real shakeups in the league’s RPI. For example, a team like Florida could easily ascend toward the top of the standings with just a couple marquee wins in SEC play.
