NCAA Top 16 Reveal: Auburn and Tennessee make top four seed lines

The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee revealed its current top 16 seeds, and two SEC teams made the list.

According to the committee, Auburn currently sits as the fifth best team in the country and is the top No. 2 seed.

The Tigers went 1-1 this past with week and remains atop the SEC standings with an overall record of 22-3 and conference record of 10-2.

Meanwhile, Tennessee earned the top No. 4 seed after winning at Kentucky earlier in the week. The Vols suffered a blowout loss at Alabama on Saturday, but their resume was strong enough to garner a top 16 ranking at the moment.

The committee’s top four overall seeds are Virginia, Villanova, Xavier, and Purdue.
