SEC Bracketology: Georgia enters the picture in Lunardi’s Feb. 19 bracket

With Selection Sunday getting closer and closer, the SEC continues to move towards earning a conference record for NCAA Tournament bids.

As has been the case for several weeks, ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi still projects eight SEC teams to make the tournament field.

Auburn fell to a No. 2 seed after losing at South Carolina, but the Tigers are still two wins in front of everyone else in the league standings.

Meanwhile, Tennessee lost on the road at Georgia this past Saturday, but the Vols remain on the 4-line due to a strong crop of quality wins.

Kentucky, Florida, and Texas A&M are all at No. 6 seeds, with the Wildcats rising after snapping their losing streak with a victory over Alabama.

And while eight teams are currently in the field, a ninth in on the horizon.

After a big win over Tennessee, Georgia has moved into Lunardi’s Next Four Out line, with the Bulldogs still having several resume-boosting wins on their schedule.

Here’s the full breakdown:

  • No. 2 Auburn
  • No. 4 Tennessee
  • No. 6 Kentucky
  • No. 6 Florida
  • No. 6 Texas A&M
  • No. 7 Alabama
  • No. 7 Missouri
  • No. 10 Arkansas
  • Next Four Out: Georgia
