Jaykwon Walton, a 3-star guard in the 2019 recruiting class, has received an offer from Alabama.

The Carver High School product has picked up previous SEC offers from Georgia, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M.

According to 247Sports, Walton is rated as the No. 21 combo guard and the No. 178 overall player in the 2019 class.

The Crimson Tide currently have no commits for 2019, but do boast two guards in their 2018 class with 4-star point guard Jared Butler and 3-star shooting guard Diante Wood already committing to the school.

Alabama has already lost two guards from this year’s roster, as star freshman Collin Sexton declared for the NBA draft, and fellow guard Ar’Mond Davis announced his decision to transfer.

The good news for Avery Johnson is that the bulk of backcourt will return next season, with Avery Johnson Jr., Herb Jones, Dazon Ingram, and John Petty all expected to return to Tuscaloosa.

The Tide went 20-16 overall this season.
