Tennessee forward Admiral Schofield has declared for the 2018 NBA draft.

The junior announced the news via Twitter and indicated that he would not hire an agent, which would allow him to return to Knoxville for another season.

Schofield averaged 13.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season for the Vols. Both averages were career-bests thus far, as was is 28.1 minutes per contest.

He finished second on the team in total 3-pointers, with the Illinois native connecting on 64 of 162 attempts from beyond the arc (39.5 percent).

Schofield has until May 30 to withdraw his name from the draft and retain his college eligibility for another season.

Despite being picked 13th in the SEC preseason media poll, Tennessee finished 26-9 overall and captured a share of the regular season title.

Should Schofield return, the Vols would likely bring back the bulk of their roster considering that James Daniel was the team’s only senior this season.
