Mississippi State guard Lamar Peters has declared for the 2018 NBA draft.

According to FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Peters will enter the draft process without signing an agent, which would allow him to return to school.

The sophomore averaged 9.6 points and 4.5 assists in 27.7 minutes per game this season.

Peters was one of 10 underclassmen on the Bulldogs’ roster this year.

Mississippi State finished 25-12 overall this season and made a run to the NIT Final Four before losing to Penn State.
