Alabama guard Collin Sexton will officially enter the 2018 NBA draft.

The freshman will enter the draft process and sign with an agent, which will prevent him to returning to Tuscaloosa for another season.

Sexton earned All-SEC Second Team honors in averaging 19.2 points and 3.6 assists in 29.9 minutes of action per game.

He scored 20 or more points in 16 games this season and finished second only to Georgia’s Yante Maten in the SEC scoring race.

According to NBADraft.net, Sexton is projected as the No. 8 pick in this year’s draft.

The Crimson Tide finished 23-13 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Villanova.
