LSU guard Tremont Waters has joined the list of early entrants into the 2018 NBA draft.

The full early entrant list was released on Tuesday, with Waters and other previously unreported names joining the group of players that have entered the draft process.

Players who declare early have until May 30 to withdraw from the draft and retain their college eligibility.

The 5-11 point guard averaged 15.9 points and 6.0 assists in 33.0 minutes per game during his freshman season with the Tigers.

Waters led the SEC in steals (2.0 spg) and finished second in assists and eighth in scoring.

The Connecticut native was a huge catalyst in helping first-year head coach Will Wade turn the program around after the team went 10-21 during the 2016-17 season.

The program should continue its ascent up the SEC and national ladder next season with a top-five recruiting class for 2018.

Wade and company have signed 5-star prospects Naz Reid and Emmitt Williams, as well as 4-star standouts Ja’Vonte Smart and Darius Days.

LSU went 18-15 overall this season and advanced to the second round of the NIT.
