Texas A&M Basketball: Aggies offer 2019 forward EJ Liddell

EJ Liddell, a 4-star power forward in the 2019 recruiting class, has received an offer from Texas A&M.

Liddell has additional SEC offers from Florida and Missouri.

Several schools have recently joined the mix for the 6-7 power forward, with Georgetown and Louisville both offering on Monday.

According to 247Sports, Liddell is rated as the No. 9 power forward and No. 53 overall prospect in the 2019 class. He’s ranked as the second-best player in Illinois.

The Aggies already have two commitments for next year’s class, with 3-star shooting guard Chris Harris Jr. and 3-star point guard Sahvir Wheeler both committed to the program.

Wendell Mitchell and Brandon Mahan have signed for the 2018 class.

Texas A&M officially loses Robert Williams and DJ Hogg to the NBA draft, as both have announced their intention to sign with an agent. Tyler Davis and Admon Gilder have both entered the process as well, but could still return next season if they withdraw by May 30.

The Aggies finished 22-13 this season and made it to the Sweet 16 before losing to eventual national runner-up Michigan.
