Auburn guard Mustapha Heron has yet to hire an agent during the NBA draft process and is reportedly still considering returning to the school for his junior season.

Heron recently spoke with college basketball writer Adam Zagoria and stated that he was “50/50” about removing himself from the draft and rejoining the Tigers.

Early entrants have until May 30 to withdraw from the process in order to retain their college eligibility.

Heron originally announced that he intended to hire an agent when he declared for the draft on April 4.

The 6-5 wing averaged 16.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 28.6 minutes per game during the 2017-18 season. He scored in double figures in all but three games while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor and 80.3 percent from the free-throw line.

In addition to Heron’s decision, Bruce Pearl has several roster unknowns at the moment. Jared Harper, Bryce Brown, and Austin Wiley have also declared for the draft, but did not announce any intentions to sign with an agent.

Auburn has already lost a couple of rotation players from this past season, as Desean Murray and Davion Mitchell both left the program.

The Tigers finished 26-8 overall and captured a share of the SEC regular season title before advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
