SEC releases conference opponents for 2018-19 season

The SEC has released the full list of conference opponents for each of the 14 teams during the 2018-19 season.

After the league set a record with eight teams in the 2018 NCAA Tournament, it figures to take another step forward with several teams likely being in the national title discussion entering the preseason.

Kentucky, Tennessee, and Auburn have all been mentioned in the top 10 in early rankings for next season, and the conference could have three or four other teams join them in many preseason polls.

Five SEC teams rank in the top 20 in recruiting, with Kentucky, LSU, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and Florida all fielding highly-talented classes.

Georgia and Arkansas rank within the top 35, while Ole Miss comes in at No. 50 to give the league eight teams within that range.

In addition to the host of newcomers that will enter the SEC, there will also be plenty of top talents returning after many withdrew from the 2018 NBA draft.

College basketball season will tip off on Nov. 6, with John Calipari’s squad taking on Duke in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis.
