Mississippi State will face Clemson in the third annual Never Forget Games on Dec. 8 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

The two teams last met in 2007, with the Tigers earning an 84-82 win in Starkville.

Clemson holds a 3-0 lead in the all-time series between the two schools.

UConn and Florida State will square off in the other game in this year’s Never Forget Games.

Mississippi State returns all six of its leading scorers from a 25-win team and will look to build upon last season’s trip to the NIT final four.

Clemson made a push to the Sweet Sixteen last season, and Brad Brownell should return several key contributors that will help the Tigers have another chance at making a deep postseason run.

Tip-off times and television information for both games will be determined at a later date.

The Never Forget Games works in partnership with the Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund, which works to support education of children of the victims of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
