The 2018 NBA draft will take place on June 21 from the Barclays Center in New York City, with players all around the world hoping to be one of the 60 selections.

With the draft less than two weeks away, mock drafts are being updated everywhere as experts try to gauge where players could land.

The SEC should be well-represented in this year’s draft, as the conference lost a host of top-notch talents after a record season that saw eight teams make the NCAA Tournament.

In the most recent mock draft update from NBADraft.net, here’s where former SEC stars are projected to be picked:

  • No. 8 – Michael Porter Jr. (Cleveland Cavaliers)
  • No. 10 – Kevin Knox (Philadelphia 76ers)
  • No. 11 – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Charlotte Hornets)
  • No. 12 – Collin Sexton (LA Clippers)
  • No. 14 – Robert Williams (Denver Nuggets)
  • No. 45 – Jarred Vanderbilt (Brooklyn Nets)
  • No. 55 – Hamidou Diallo (Charlotte Hornets)
  • No. 60 – Yante Maten (Philadelphia 76ers)

Arizona center DeAndre Ayton is projected as the top overall pick, with the 7-footer expected to be chosen by the Phoenix Suns.

Marvin Bagley (Duke), Trae Young (Oklahoma), Mo Bamba (Texas), and Jaren Jackson Jr. (Michigan State) round out the top five in the mock draft.

Early projections for the 2019 draft include 11 SEC players in the mix, with LSU center Naz Reid leading the way as the No. 5 overall pick.
