Florida will reportedly take on in-state foe Florida Gulf Coast in the 2018 Orange Bowl Classic on Dec. 22 in Miami.

According to Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports, the two teams will meet in one of the two games at the annual event while Florida State will take on Saint Louis in the other matchup.

Game times are still to be determined.

Florida and Florida Gulf Coast have met three times since the Eagles become a full Division I member back in 2011, with the Gators winning all three games.

Their most recent meeting came in 2016, as Florida earned an 80-59 victory.

Mike White returns several key players from last season, which could result in the Gators being voted among the preseason top 25.

Leading scorer Jalen Hudson is back after withdrawing from the NBA draft, and he’ll be complimented by fellow impact returners in KeVaughn Allen, Keith Stone, and Kevarrius Hayes.

Florida also adds a top-20 recruiting class that includes 5-star point guard Andrew Nembhard and 4-star wings Noah Locke and Keyontae Johnson.

The Gators finished 21-13 this past season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Texas Tech.
