Juwan Gary, a 4-star forward in the 2019 recruiting class, has officially committed to Alabama.
After originally planning to announce his choice on Nov. 15, Gary revealed several days ago that he would be making his decision this week.
The 6-6 wing had narrowed his list to five, which included Alabama, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, and Virginia Tech.

According to 247Sports, Gary is rated as the No. 3 prospect in South Carolina and the No. 19 small forward in the 2019 recruiting class.
With the addition of Gary, the Crimson Tide have moved up to No. 7 nationally in the rankings for next year’s class.
Avery Johnson already landed a commitment from 4-star small forward Diante Smith, who announced his decision on July 4.
