James Wiseman, the nation’s top player in the 2019 recruiting class, has listed both Kentucky and Vanderbilt in his final five schools.
The 7-0 center also included Florida State, Kansas and Memphis in the group.
Wiseman played high school basketball for Penny Hardaway, who is now the head coach of the Tigers.

Most recruiting experts suggest that Kentucky and Memphis are the clear front-runners.
There currently no timetable as to when Wiseman will announce his decision, as he still has official visits set for Vanderbilt (Oct. 14), Memphis (Oct. 19), and Florida State (Oct. 25).
He visited Kentucky in early September and Kansas last week.
John Calipari has already compiled a top five class for 2019 thanks to the additions of 5-star prospects Kahlil Whitney and Tyrese Maxey, as well as top 75 prospect Dontaie Allen.
Vanderbilt has two 4-star commitments for next year’s class in 6-8 power forward Dylan Disu and 6-6 shooting guard Austin Crowley.
