It was another fun week of SEC basketball action, with several teams taking a big step in the right direction by picking up multiple wins.

But not everyone was able to make significant strides, and that puts a few bubble teams in an interesting spot entering another important week around the league.

Let’s jump into this week’s SEC basketball power rankings.

1. Tennessee Volunteers (22-1, 10-0)

Tennessee is preparing for its biggest game of the SEC season thus far as it’ll head to Lexington on Saturday, but before that, Rick Barnes’ group will look to earn a season sweep of South Carolina.

2. Kentucky Wildcats (20-3, 9-1)

The Wildcats have now won 10 in a row, and they’ll jump to No. 1 in next week’s power rankings if they’re able to defeat LSU and Tennessee this week.

3. LSU Tigers (19-4, 9-1)

Tremont Waters and company had their most impressive week of the year in picking up back-to-back wins over Mississippi State and Auburn, and the matchup against Kentucky at Rupp Arena will be must-see TV.

4. South Carolina Gamecocks (12-11, 7-3)

Most people are having trouble looking beyond the Gamecocks’ overall record, but they’ve beaten every SEC team they’ve outside of the top three in the rankings.

5. Auburn Tigers (16-7, 5-5)

This is an important stretch of games for the Tigers, as they could really use a quality win over Ole Miss before traveling to Vanderbilt on Saturday.

6. Alabama Crimson Tide (15-8, 6-4)

Five of Alabama’s eight losses this season are by six points or less, and they are trending in the right direction with crucial matchups against Mississippi State and Florida on the way.

7. Ole Miss Rebels (16-7, 6-4)

The Rebels are back on track after the four-game losing streak, and a victory at Auburn would do wonders for their NCAA Tournament resume.

8. Mississippi State Bulldogs (16-7, 4-6)

Mississippi State has had a tough league schedule, but they must start finding wins somewhere if they want to stay away from the bubble discussion.

9. Arkansas Razorbacks (14-9, 5-5)

After letting a big opportunity slip away at South Carolina, the Hogs are set for showdowns against Missouri and Mississippi State.

10. Florida Gators (12-11, 4-6)

The Gators have scored over 70 points just twice in conference play, but on a positive note, they get a struggling Vanderbilt team on Wednesday before hitting the road to take on Alabama.

11. Texas A&M Aggies (9-13, 2-8)

While the record may not show it, the Aggies do seem to be improving after a solid road win at Missouri and have another favorable matchup coming up against Georgia.

12. Missouri Tigers (11-11, 2-8)

The next five games are not gonna be easy for Cuonzo Martin’s team, and it starts with a home tilt against Arkansas and a road game at Ole Miss.

13. Georgia Bulldogs (10-13, 1-9)

Tom Crean is certainly frustrated right his team right now, and unfortunately, Georgia has a brutal schedule after heading to College Station on Tuesday.

14. Vanderbilt Commodores (9-14, 0-10)

Getting their first conference win is going to be a huge challenge for the Commodores considering that these are the next five games on the schedule: at Florida, vs. Auburn, at Tennessee, at Alabama, vs. Florida.
