The SEC regular season title race has gotten extremely interesting, with three teams having a shot at the championship with only four games left to play.

But there are other teams around the league that are hoping to increase their NCAA Tournament chances, and several of them have managed to grab recent wins that greatly improve their resumes.

Let’s jump into this week’s SEC basketball power rankings.

1. Kentucky Wildcats (23-4, 12-2)

The Wildcats earned one of the most impressive SEC wins this season with the 27-point victory over Auburn, and now they’ll prepare for a home matchup against Arkansas before the rematch with Tennessee.

2. LSU Tigers (22-5, 12-2)

Many people expected LSU to be at a huge disadvantage against the Vols without Tremont Waters on the court, but the Tigers stepped up in a big way to earn the overtime win.

3. Tennessee Volunteers (24-3, 12-2)

It’s funny how quickly people overreact to two road losses to top top 15 teams, but things don’t exactly get any easier for Grant Williams and company with Ole Miss and Kentucky up next.

4. Mississippi State Bulldogs (20-7, 8-6)

After struggling for several weeks, the Bulldogs have won four in a row and seem to be finding their groove at an important stage of the season.

5. South Carolina Gamecocks (14-13, 9-5)

While the Gamecocks haven’t been able to find success on the road against good teams, they have a manageable schedule down the stretch and should be able to move closer to the tournament bubble.

6. Ole Miss Rebels (19-8, 9-5)

The Rebels have won five of their past six games, and they have another opportunity to boost their tournament profile with a home matchup against Tennessee on Wednesday before hitting the road to take on Arkansas.

7. Florida Gators (16-11, 8-6)

Speaking of teams that are playing very well, Mike White’s squad has picked up four straight victories ahead of winnable games against Vanderbilt and Georgia.

8. Auburn Tigers (18-9, 7-7)

There are certainly some concerns with the Tigers at this point after the Kentucky loss, but they must regroup quickly to avoid an upset at Georgia.

9. Alabama Crimson Tide (16-11, 7-7)

It’s clear that the Tide still have a lot of work to do to make the tournament, and they really need to beat either South Carolina or LSU to stay in the bubble discussion.

10. Texas A&M Aggies (12-14, 5-9)

The Aggies are one of the most improved teams in the SEC, and they could easily play the spoiler role in the conference tournament given their consistency on both sides of the court.

11. Arkansas Razorbacks (14-13, 5-9)

Arkansas has lost five in a row, and that streak may continue since up next is a visit to Rupp Arena to take on Kentucky.

12. Missouri Tigers (12-14, 3-11)

Cuonzo Martin’s group has played in a lot of close games this season, but they just can’t seem to make enough plays in key moments to be able to rack up victories.

13. Georgia Bulldogs (10-17, 1-13)

Make it back-to-back one-point losses for the Bulldogs, and they have two difficult challenges ahead with matchups against Auburn and Florida.

14. Vanderbilt Commodores (9-18, 0-14)

With only four regular season games left, the Commodores have to make the most of upcoming opportunities against Florida and Texas A&M if they want to grab an SEC win.
