We’ve officially reached March, and eight SEC teams are currently projected to make the NCAA Tournament field in ESPN Joe Lunardi’s newest bracketology.

Teams around the SEC are hoping to boost their tournament resumes over the next few weeks, as the league will try to match its record eight bids from a season ago.

Kentucky holds strong as a No. 1 seed in Lunardi’s updated bracket projection, while Tennessee sits at a 2-seed after a much-needed road win at Ole Miss.

LSU is next up with a No. 4 seed, as the Tigers have a great shot at capturing the SEC regular season title thanks to wins over both Kentucky and Tennessee.

Mississippi State is a 6-seed, Auburn is an 8-seed, and Ole Miss and Florida are both No. 9 seeds.

Meanwhile, Alabama is slotted on the Last Four Byes line at a No. 11 seed after picking up a huge win at South Carolina.

The ACC is at the top in terms of bids by conference with nine, and the SEC, Big 12, and Big Ten are right behind them with eight each.
