Auburn point guard Jared Harper has officially declared for the 2019 NBA draft.
Harper announced his decision via Twitter on Tuesday after putting together an incredible season to help the Tigers reach their first Final Four in program history.
He stated that he plans to sign with an agent and seemed to suggest that he would not be returning to Auburn even if he goes undrafted.

New rules allow players to sign with an agent and still return to school should they not be drafted, so he at least has that option.
Harper averaged 15.3 points and 5.8 assists per game this season while becoming one of the nation’s top point guards and overall playmakers.
Replacing Harper’s production and intangibles will not be easy for Bruce Pearl and company, even if the team is still projected to have one of the more talented rosters in the SEC next season if several other key players choose to return to the program.
Pearl also brings in a talented recruiting class, which includes top 40 forward Issac Okoro and several other players that should fit perfectly with the Tigers’ up-tempo style of play.
