LSU has officially reinstated head coach Will Wade after suspending him back in early March.

Wade declined to meet with school officials following a Yahoo report that included details regarding alleged comments that he made to sports agent Christian Dawkins, which led to the suspension.

However, after the two parties finally met to discuss the situation, it appears that LSU decided to allow Wade to return to his coaching duties.

It’s still unknown whether Wade will be forced to testify in the April 22 trial in New York that is based around the FBI’s investigation into college basketball.

After Wade’s suspension, interim head coach Tony Benford was able to lead the Tigers to a Sweet 16 appearance, where they lost to Michigan State.

Since the end of the season, LSU has had several players declare for the 2019 NBA draft, including Tremont Waters, Naz Reid, Javonte Smart, Skylar Mays, and Emmitt Williams.

The Tigers currently have two commits in the 2019 class and will likely have to add plenty more should several of the players stay in the draft process and pursue professional opportunities.
