Rongie Gordon, a 3-star forward in the 2020 recruiting class, has picked up an offer from Buzz Williams and the Texas A&M Aggies.

The 6-8 power forward, who currently attends Sidney Lanier High School (AL), already holds several other high-major offers.

Alabama and Georgia Tech are among the teams that have extended offers, with Auburn also having significant interest.

Gordon ranks as the No. 6 player in Alabama and No. 264 player overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

Williams and company are already off to a hot start on the recruiting trail, as the Aggies landed four 2019 commits last weekend.

Texas A&M fired former head coach Billy Kennedy following a 14-18 season

Williams led Virginia Tech to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances prior to heading to College Station, including a Sweet 16 bid this past season.

He’ll try to achieve that same type of success with the Aggies, but it won’t be easy considering that the SEC has become one of the most competitive conferences in the country.
