UNC Wilmington grad transfer Jeantal Cylla has committed to Eric Musselman and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The 6-7 forward is the first commit for Musselman since taking over as Arkansas coach.

Musselman has lots of success on the transfer market during his tenure at Nevada, and it’s clear that he’s using a similar approach early on in Fayetteville.

Cylla averaged 13.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game this past season and was considered one of the most impactful grad transfers available.

He is likely the first of several newcomers that will join the mix, as Arkansas currently has only one signee in the 2019 class in 3-star point guard Justice Hill.

With Musselman’s ability to recruit and effectively land transfers, he should be able to revamp the roster rather quickly while also developing the young nucleus that is already in place.

The Razorbacks haven’t advanced to the Sweet 16 since 1996, and the new staff will aim to help the program return to being a consistent SEC title contender.
