Vanderbilt basketball recruiting: 2019 guard Jordan Wright commits to Commodores

Jordan Wright, a 3-star guard in the 2019 recruiting class, has committed to Vanderbilt.

The 6-6 shooting guard took his official visit to the school earlier in the week, and apparently that was enough to make his decision.

Georgia Tech, Houston, and Minnesota were among the other schools that offered Wright.

He is rated as the No. 3 player in Louisiana and No. 312 player overall in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.

Wright becomes the third player in Vanderbilt’s class, as Jerry Stackhouse looks to build a solid foundation early on in his tenure.

Dylan Disu and Scotty Pippen Jr. have already signed with the school, and there are likely several other players that may join them.

The Commodores will return two top contributors in Saben Lee and Aaron Nesmith next season, and could also have Simi Shittu back in the mix if he withdraws from the NBA draft process.
