Vanderbilt basketball: Commodores announce 2019-20 non-conference schedule

Vanderbilt basketball has released it’s 2019-20 non-conference schedule.

Jerry Stackhouse prepares for his first season with the Commodores, and they’ll have a lot of home games on the schedule prior to the start of SEC play in January.

Vanderbilt’ will host several intriguing mid-major opponents, including Buffalo, Liberty, and Davidson.

  • Nov. 14 at Richmond
  • Nov. 20 vs. Austin Peay
  • Nov. 22 vs. South Carolina State
  • Nov. 25 vs. Southeastern Louisiana
  • Nov. 30 vs. Tulsa
  • Dec. 3 vs. Buffalo
  • Dec. 14 vs. Liberty
  • Dec. 18 vs. Loyola-Chicago (Phoenix, AZ)
  • Dec. 22 vs. UNC-Wilmington
  • Dec. 30 vs. Davidson
  • Jan. 4 vs. SMU

The Commodores return a productive scoring duo in Saben Lee and Aaron Nesmith, while Stackhouse adds a top 50 recruiting class to the mix.
