There has been lots of speculation regarding Lane Kiffin’s future at Ole Miss and the possibility that he could be the next coach at Auburn. While Kiffin noted that he expects to be the Rebels’ coach next season, many connected people believe he’s still the top candidate for the Tigers, who unsurprisingly have not made an official offer to anyone yet.
Of course, it seems there is also lots of momentum behind current Liberty head coach and former Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze. As with Kiffin, there are those that expect Freeze to ultimately be Auburn’s choice, which sets up an interesting scenario as to how it all unfolds.
