The Big 12 version of the Wildcats scored a 77-65 win against Montana State in the first round, with Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell combining for 35 points. As for the SEC version of the Wildcats, they notched a 61-53 victory against Providence thanks to a 25-rebound effort from Oscar Tshiebwe.
