Video: Bruce Pearl addresses Mustapha Heron omission from SEC awards

Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl addressed the media on Tuesday, and among the topics of discussion was Mustapha Heron being left off the All-SEC first and second teams.

Heron led the Tigers in scoring during the regular season with 16.6 points per game.

Auburn guard Bryce Brown and Jared Harper were named to the All-SEC Second Team, while forward Anfernee McLemore earned a spot on the league’s All-Defensive Team.

The Tigers will enter this week’s SEC Tournament as the No. 1 seed after claiming a share of the regular season title and will meet the winner of Alabama and Texas A&M on Friday.
