Drew Timme, a 4-star forward in the 2019 recruiting class, has received an offer from Alabama.

Timme announced the news via Twitter on Sunday after getting the offer from Alabama head coach Avery Johnson.

The 6-10 power forward picked up an offer from Virginia on Saturday and has had numerous other schools show interest, including Baylor, Gonzaga, Kansas State, Purdue, and USC.

According to 247Sports, Timme is ranked as the No. 18 power forward and No. 108 player overall in the 2019 class.

The Crimson Tide currently have no commitments for next year, but are considered among the front-runners for several top in-state prospects such as 5-star small forward Trendon Watford and 4-star guards Kira Lewis and Jaykwon Walton.

Johnson and and company have signed a top 50 class for 2018 and will look to replace star freshman Collin Sexton, who will sign with an agent and enter the NBA draft.

The team also recently lost forward Braxton Key after he announced that he would transfer from the program.

The Tide finished 20-16 overall this season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to eventual national champion Villanova.
